CT26.WT was cloned from an N-nitroso-N-methylurethane (NMU) induced, undifferentiated colon carcinoma murine cell line. The cell line has an H-2d haplotype and can be grown in the BALB/c mouse strain. As a mainstay model for evaluating surrogate and cross reactive therapeutics, a vast array of historical data is available. In addition to evaluating I/O treatment response, this model has proven useful in the assessment of immuno-PD. At Crown Bioscience, the CT26.WT model is available as a subcutaneous model.
