This research presents a study aimed at further boosting the immune compartment of the 3D Ex Vivo Patient Tissue (EVPT) platform assay by addition of stained autologous immune cells (PBMCs).

The 3D Ex Vivo Patient Tissue (EVPT) platform combines short-term 3D ex vivo tumor culture systems from fresh human material with high content imaging analysis. The platform preserves the innate tumor microenvironment, including resident immune cells, and thus allows immunological testing in ‘close-to-patient’ scenario.
