Synonyms: EMT-6, Experimental Mammary Tumour-6
EMT6 model was cloned from a mammary carcinoma that arose in a BALB/c mouse following the implantation of a hyperplastic mammary alveolar nodule(1). The model offers a platform for testing I/O treatment efficacy as well as PK/PD effects in vivo. At CrownBio, the EMT6 model is available both subcutaneously (flank) and orthotopically (mammary fat pad). In addition, a firefly luciferase tagged reporter line of EMT6 model is available, fascilitating disease monitoring via bioluminescent imaging.
