Image-Based Quantification of Myeloid Cell Repolarization and their Interplay within the Tumor Microenvironment in 3D

Image-Based Quantification of Myeloid Cell Repolarization and their Interplay within the Tumor Microenvironment in 3DPresenter: Dr. Gera Goverse, Senior Scientist, Crown Bioscience

Want to progress your myeloid and TME-targeting immuno-oncology drugs with confidence? Discover the benefits of the Myeloid Repolarisation Assay in our upcoming TechTalk:

  • Visualize and quantify immunotherapy and TME effects on myeloid cells using a robust 3D phenotypic analysis

  • Analyze myeloid cells cultured in 3D better resembling the physiological environment in vivo

  • Accurately measure the functional reprogramming of the suppressive tumor-associated macrophage population towards an M1 phenotype induced by drug candidates

  • Understand drug effects in a suppressive TME in both monocultures of myeloid cells and co-cultures of myeloid cells and tumoroids with an option to include T cells through functional readouts including tumoroid killing and immune cell infiltration

In this TechTalk Dr. Gera Goverse will discuss how the incorporation of different myeloid cell populations results in a better representation of the human immune system in the tumor microenvironment (TME) in 3D image-based co-cultures of tumor and immune cells. Discover our 3D high content imaging assay to visualize and quantify immunotherapy and TME effects on myeloid cells using 3D phenotypic analysis.

Watch this webinar to explore:

  • The principles of the Myeloid Repolarisation Assay

  • Evaluation of drug-induced repolarization of myeloid cells as monoculture in 3D

  • Identify phenotypic profiles of different myeloid cell populations in 3D

  • And much more!

About The Presenter:

Dr. Gera GoverseDr. Gera Goverse joined OcellO in 2017 and is currently Senior Scientist and head of Myeloid Cell Biology at Crown Bioscience Netherlands. Her expertise is in assay development for testing drug candidates targeting the immune cell response leading to the killing of tumors in 3D high content image assays.

Dr. Goverse who obtained her Ph.D. in Immunology at the VU Medical Centre Amsterdam and continued her post doctoral studies at the KU Leuven, applies her obtained knowledge within these complex assays studying different subsets of immune cells and is specialized in the role of the myeloid cell compartment.
