Large scale genomics initiatives, such as The Cancer Genome Atlas, have predominantly studied Caucasian kidney cancer. To understand if there are distinct expression profiles within Chinese populations, this new study investigated the genomics of Chinese clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC).
Whole-transcriptomic sequencing was performed on tumor and matched normal tissues from Chinese ccRCC patients, with the resulting data systematically analyzed and comprehensively compared with the TCGA ccRCC cohort.
