EGFR Cell Lines

EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) is a cell-surface receptor tyrosine kinase. Activation of this receptor has been associated with a number of cancers, including lung and colon cancer. The identification of EGFR as a driver gene has led to the development of anticancer therapeutic agents, including gefitinib, erlotinib, afatinib, osimertinib (AZD9291), and cetuximab. The EGFR T790M mutation causes resistance to first generation reversible EGFR inhibitors, including erlotinib, and has resulted in the development of new irreversible EGFR inhibitors such as afatinib and osimertinib.

Ba/F3, a murine interleukin-3 dependent pro-B cell line, is a popular system for exploring both kinases and their kinase inhibitors, because some protein kinases can render Ba/F3 cells independent of IL-3, while their inhibitors antagonize this effect. Our EGFR Cell Lines were generated using pLVX-puro lentivirus system to express EGFR and the EGFR T790M mutation.

Wnt Pathway Reporter Cell Line

Our 293T Wnt Luciferase Cell Line provides a convenient tool for screening of inhibitors or activators of Wnt signaling pathway, which is frequently activated abnormally in many human cancers. It is a HEK 293T cell clone stably integrated with Wnt reporter expression cassette with the firefly luciferase gene under the control of promoter containing 14 TCF-binding sites. The Wnt reporter expression is robustly induced by exogenous Wnt stimulation, which can be easily measured by the luciferase activity.
