CD27 Cell Line Background

CD27, also known as TNFRSF7, is a transmembrane protein belonging to the TNF receptor superfamily. It functions as a co-stimulatory immune checkpoint molecule in T cell activation, while also playing a critical role in regulating B-cell activation and immunoglobulin synthesis after binding with its ligand, CD70.

Alternative Nomenclature

CD27 molecule (CD27) is also known as T14, S152, Tp55, TNFRSF7, or S152.LPFS2.

Recombinant Cell Line Generation

This 293T human CD27 Cell Line was generated using pLVX-puro vector expressing human CD27 sequence based on an in-house 293T/NF-κb reporter cell line.

Resuscitation Protocol

Thaw the vial as soon as possible upon receipt to insure its viability.

  1. Thaw the frozen vial in a 37°C water bath for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Transfer the vial into biosafety cabinet. Wipe the surface with 70% ethanol and drop the cell suspension gently into a centrifuge tube containing 9.0 mL complete culture medium.
  3. Spin at ~ 125 x g, for 5- 7 minutes at room temperature.
  4. Resuspend cell pellet with the appropriate volume of complete medium and transfer the cell suspension into a T25 culture flask.
  5. Incubate the culture at 37°, 5% CO2 incubator or refer to the specific culture condition, if possible.
