CTLA-4 antibody binding EC50 by ELISA using CTLA-4 antibody, Catalog # C0021 and mouse IgG1, kappa isotype control, Catalog # C0005.
Human CTLA-4 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and encodes a protein which transmits an inhibitory signal to T cells. The protein contains a V domain, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic tail. Mutations in this gene have been associated with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, Graves disease, Hashimoto thyroiditis, celiac disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, thyroid-associated orbitopathy, and other autoimmune diseases.
This CTLA-4 antibody was developed from mouse immunization, and expressed in suspension culture of mouse hybridoma clone CB17.
