Despite of the tremendous progress made in the past to control cardiovascular disease, it remains one of the top threats for human health in the world.  Innovative therapeutics which can modify or even reverse disease progression are still needed to reduce the disease burden in the general population.

We have established an extensive collection of animal models for the evaluation of compounds targeting cardiovascular diseases, including:

  • High cholesterol rabbit model view data 1, 2, 3
  • ApoE/LDLR mouse model view data 1, 2, 3
  • Rat Carotid ligation induced vascular remodeling
  • Rat coronary artery ligation model view data 1, 2, 3
  • Rat renal hypertension model view data 1, 2, 3
  • Guinea pig dyslipidemia model view data 1, 2, 3
