IC50s in over 250 cells lines in three weeks.Cancer is not a single disease. Many targeted drugs only work in a small fraction of patient population, sometimes across seemingly unrelated cancer types. In order to achieve the necessary statistical power to cover most of cancer types, it is necessary to screen candidate compounds with 250-500 cancer cell lines to:
- Identify cancer indication
- Identify sub-population of highly sensitive cancer genotypes to generate patient stratification hypothesis
- Investigate multiple possible mechanisms of action
Crown Bio cell biology experts have created highly reproducible archived cell banks of over 250+ cancer cell lines. Each of these have been QC'd for growth and profiling histories to ensure repeated cell based assays do not suffer the variability and drift, which is the greatest drawback in using cell lines manipulated in one dimensional culture.
Proprietary primary cancer cells derived by from our HuPrimeTM platform are available for testing as part of our OmniPanelTM. Each primary line is complete with a detailed patient clinical information and extensive cDNA microarray data.The Omni Panel will provide the most comprehensive analysis of lead compound in vitro, and important resource for predictive biomarker discovery.
